Payments Delivery Lead, Banking

This role is for a Payments Delivery Lead in the Banking sector at Deloitte. The position focuses on leading end-to-end delivery of payments and digital assets product, program, and transformation engagements for clients. Responsibilities include managing engagements, defining project scope, translating business objectives into strategies and roadmaps, and managing client relationships. The role requires experience in product management, program management, technology delivery, or transformation within banking, financial services, or consulting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading end-to-end delivery of payments and digital assets product, program, and transformation engagements for banking and capital markets clients
  2. Managing small engagements or key workstreams within large, complex programs spanning payments modernization, digital assets innovation, process improvement, operating model design, competitor benchmarking, and cost transformation
  3. Defining project scope, workplans, deliverables, success metrics, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications, and driving execution against timelines and budgets
  4. Translating client business objectives into product strategies, operating model recommendations, implementation roadmaps, and delivery plans, while overseeing the quality of team analyses and deliverables
  5. Managing client stakeholder relationships, contributing to proposals and thought leadership, and coaching junior practitioners to support high-quality delivery and practice growth

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, program management, technology delivery, or transformation roles in banking, financial services, or consulting
  • 8+ years of experience leading large-scale technology, product, or business transformation programs in a client
