The Payments Operations Business Resiliency Associate Senior Associate role at JPMorgan Chase focuses on ensuring the stability and recovery of payments operations from disruptions. What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure standardization and consistency across Payments Operations and Payments Operations Business resulting from changes in regulatory requirements or Firmwide led changes
  2. Partner with Plan Managers and Essential Service Managers to ensure material changes, concerns raised are closed on time and plans and Essential Services Summaries are approved on/before deadlines
  3. Collaborate with plan managers to implement testing requirements, acting as a consultant across the following areas: staff, sites, CPOF (critical points of failure) assets, third parties, applications, and simulations.
  4. Design and execute simulation exercises to test the resilience of critical business processes, systems, and teams
  5. Conduct comprehensive quality control checks on all plans and Essential Services by critically evaluating the appropriateness of the content in resiliency plans to enhance their effectiveness.

Skills

Required

  • Equivalent experience in financial services operations
  • Successful track record of delivering results, working to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for independent workload
  • Demonstrated controls awareness through experience in operations
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work both as a part of a team and independently
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to multiple levels of management
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to analyse results and provide valuable insights
  • Strong time management and multitasking ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to have

  • Business Resiliency, Operational & Crisis Management, Payment operations experience preferred
  • Experience in an investment banking Resiliency, Regulatory, Compliance or Operational team is desirable
