This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution, and accounting of employee payroll, serving as a liaison to employees and third-party vendors, auditing pay records, participating in payroll system upgrades, and resolving payroll inquiries. The analyst ensures accurate FLSA status, interprets pay policies, and maintains compliance with federal and state payroll standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution, and accounting of employee payroll.
  2. Serves as a liaison to employees and third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.
  3. Audits employee pay records and reconciles totals by departmental cost center, location, etc.
  4. Participates in payroll system upgrades and implementations.
  5. Works directly with employees to resolve outstanding payroll inquiries.
