Payroll Analyst

This role is for a Payroll Analyst at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on HR or Finance operations for the Americas region. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with company policies and legal requirements, data validation, reconciliation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 2 years of experience in Payroll or HR operations, knowledge of US payroll processing, and strong communication skills. Experience with SOX compliance and payroll software is also required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure payroll-related data from Company internal applications interfaces into the payroll system before payroll deadline.
  2. Support process of accounting, payments, Time & Attendance, Long Term incentives, as part of Payroll.
  3. Perform checks, controls, variance analysis and reconciliations during pre-payroll processing and before payroll is finalized.
  4. Serve as a Payroll support for the different phases of the project like testing, data management, process documentation etc.
  5. Provide expertise on payroll calculation process with third-party payroll provider.

Skills

Required

  • Payroll or HR operation experience
  • Knowledge of payroll US processing
