Payroll Practitioner II

Responsible for payroll processing controllership to consistently deliver accurate and timely employee payments. Ensures high data integrity through the use of targeted audits and takes appropriate action to resolve issue/risk. Proactively identifies process and data risk. Provides timely support to internal and external key stakeholder requests. Participates in projects to deliver process improvements. Demonstrates broad industry and payroll knowledge, systems expertise and experience. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

What you'd actually do

  1. Resolve escalated payroll cases utilizing research and knowledge.
  2. Conduct audits and identify risks to prevent issues with accuracy, timeliness and production. Make recommendations and take appropriate action to address identified issues.
  3. Manage processes through metric evaluation and audits for payroll transactions including holiday pay, penalty pay, deceased EE's, military pay, signing bonus, auto allowance etc.
  4. Serve as a Payroll and Workday SME.
  5. Facilitate and support global payroll process performance and controllership.
