Payroll Specialist (contract)

This role is for a Payroll Specialist within Intel's HR Services organization, focusing on delivering day-to-day administration for payroll and benefits processes across assigned countries. Responsibilities include managing daily tasks, working with external vendors, understanding legal and tax requirements, handling employee queries, partnering with HR teams, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and recommending process improvements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, strong attention to detail, proficiency in English, business partnering skills, computer literacy, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience in payroll accounting, SOX, and automation are considered advantages.

What you'd actually do

  1. Performing daily sustaining administration duties across all Payroll and Benefits processes within established target timeline
  2. Working with external vendors both globally and regionally for Payroll and Benefits to ensure quality and customer satisfaction targets are met.
  3. Understanding and maintaining country specific content knowledge across multiple countries for legal and tax requirements in order to keep Intel legal and in control.
  4. Managing employee queries to resolution within established target timeline.
  5. Partnering with regional based HR Services team in order to support complex issue resolution, program changes and new program implementation

Skills

Required

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline Degree in Human Resource Finance Accounting or equivalent business experience
