Payroll Specialist

NVIDIA is seeking a Payroll Specialist for their APAC Payroll Team in Taiwan. The role involves coordinating global payroll, processing monthly and annual payroll, tax filings, and assisting with audits and compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, 5+ years of experience (3+ in payroll), and proficiency in English and Mandarin.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordination with global and international Payroll and HR teams for taxation and payroll processing
  2. Month end closing for payroll related accounts
  3. Monthly payroll processing, including monthly payroll report, payroll disbursement and payroll tax filing
  4. Annual filing including annual return, withholding tax and shared-based compensation
  5. Assisting statutory audit, internal audit, and tax compliance

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting
  • 5+ years of total working experience
  • 3+ years specializing in payroll
  • Experience in industry accounting and payroll functions across APAC locations
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient speaking and writing ability in English and Mandarin
  • Familiar with Office and Outlook software
  • Exceptional attention to deal with a high standard for accuracy in numbers
  • Ability to work independently and proactively stay updated on new payroll regulation and rulings

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CPA firms
  • Strong ability to drive continuous improvement of processes
  • Confident, self-motivated, and energetic individual with the highest degree of ethics
