Legora is seeking a People Enablement Partner for their Engineering team in London. This role focuses on building the London Engineering hub by hiring high-calibre engineers, product managers, and designers, and establishing systems for performance, velocity, and scalability. The partner will work closely with leadership on hiring, team composition, and people infrastructure, acting as a strategic partner and hands-on hiring lead.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own full-cycle recruitment for Engineering, Product, and Design — building the foundational London team with a high bar on quality, not just speed.
  2. Build and maintain proactive, high-quality pipelines for critical technical roles — so we're never starting from zero when a priority opens.
  3. Act as a genuine thought partner to Engineering and Product leadership on org design, team structure, and hiring sequencing — translating product and engineering priorities into clear plans and capability gaps.
  4. Support the build-out of the London Engineering hub end-to-end, ensuring cohesive, high-performing team formation from day one.
  5. Serve as the primary People partner for Engineering and Product in London — supporting performance management frameworks, goal-setting, feedback cycles, and calibration.

Skills

Required

  • 4–7+ years in talent acquisition or People roles, with a strong focus on Engineering, Product, and Design hiring in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • A proven track record of hiring high-quality technical talent
  • Deep understanding of technical roles and how to assess engineering and product talent effectively
  • Experience partnering with senior technical stakeholders on hiring strategy, org design, and team build-out
  • The ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking
  • A track record of building or meaningfully improving scalable hiring or People systems
  • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders with data, market insight, and structured thinking
