People Operations Intern (july to December 2026)

This is an internship role focused on People Operations within Cloudflare, aiming to leverage AI tools to improve HR processes, automate workflows, and analyze people data. The intern will support project management, process optimization using generative and agentic AI, data analysis for insights, and knowledge management. The role emphasizes AI fluency and data literacy for improving business processes and team efficiencies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support end-to-end project lifecycles for People Team initiatives. You will keep timelines on track, manage stakeholders, and ensure no detail is overlooked.
  2. Identify manual HR workflows and leverage AI solutions to automate and improve them. You will explore ways to use generative and agentic AI to streamline employee communications and internal documentation. You will also work on system automation projects and help with system testing.
  3. Analyze people data to identify trends in hiring, retention, and employee engagement. You’ll use these insights to make recommendations to leadership.
  4. Maintain and audit our internal documentation and knowledge base, ensuring that employees have access to the most accurate, up-to-date information.
  5. Become a power user and internal champion for our proprietary tools helping the team leverage these platforms for smarter decision-making.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree (open to all majors) or relevant HR program.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing internal Wikis (e.g., Confluence, Notion).
  • Familiarity with HR compliance, processes, program administration, and tools.
  • A background in Project Management (PMO) or Business Operations.
