People Operations Manager

Polymarket is seeking a People Operations Manager to own the operational backbone of the employee experience, from onboarding to offboarding. This role requires hands-on experience in People Operations, HRIS administration (Rippling/Deel), benefits management, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building repeatable processes and can manage a high volume of employee questions. Experience with AI tools for HR is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end-to-end onboarding process for every new hire, including post-offer communication, I-9 verification, system setup in Rippling and Deel, and leading the People Ops onboarding session.
  2. Administer Rippling as the primary system owner, keeping employee data accurate, maintaining integrations, and optimizing workflows as the company grows.
  3. Manage the benefits program from top to bottom, including vendor relationships, employee questions, and quarterly reporting on program usage to leadership.
  4. Ensure HR compliance across state and federal requirements, including regulatory reporting, policy audits, and keeping the employee handbook current on an annual basis.
  5. Support payroll accuracy and timeliness in partnership with external payroll support, and coordinate visa and immigration matters for employees who need them.

Skills

Required

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a People Operations role
  • End-to-end HRIS administration experience, including data management, workflow configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment law
  • Proven ownership of onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Experience managing benefits programs and working with a PEO
  • A track record of building documented, repeatable processes
  • The patience and clarity to field high volumes of employee questions

Nice to have

  • Rippling or Deel experience
  • Experience building or deploying AI tools or self-service resources to handle common HR questions at scale
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment where the People team was lean and the work moved fast
