This role is for a People Operations Partner at Whatnot, focusing on designing and scaling the employee experience, with an initial ownership of end-to-end onboarding. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of experience in People Ops or HR operations, is a Workday power user, and enjoys improving processes in a fast-growing environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and evolve onboarding as a core People Ops program.
  2. Design and deliver in-person onboarding experiences.
  3. Lead cross-functional People Ops initiatives and projects.
  4. Build and scale People Ops processes.
  5. Maintain data accuracy and support audit readiness across the employee lifecycle.

Skills

Required

  • 3–5+ years of experience in People Ops, HR operations, or a similar role
  • Workday power user
  • experience designing or improving onboarding programs or employee experience initiatives
  • comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and driving projects end-to-end in ambiguous environments
  • organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • communicate clearly and thoughtfully across teams
  • take ownership and follow through
