People Systems Manager

Robinhood is seeking a People Systems Manager to lead the development and operation of HR and Payroll systems, focusing on Workday. This player-coach role involves hands-on technical leadership, team management, cross-functional partnerships, integration design, and driving system implementations and enhancements. The role also involves collaborating with AI engineering teams to shape AI-enabled capabilities within HR platforms and supporting global expansion and M&A. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of People Systems/HRIS experience, including 2+ years in management and 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with expertise in integrations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and evolve Robinhood’s core People Systems, with a strong focus on Workday across functional and technical domains
  2. Act as a hands-on technical leader, driving configuration, integrations, and solution design while guiding execution across your team
  3. Manage and develop a distributed team of full-time employees and contractors, fostering ownership, accountability, and growth
  4. Partner cross-functionally with HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Finance, and Engineering to deliver scalable and reliable solutions
  5. Design, build, and maintain integrations within the People tech stack, with deep ownership of EIB-based integrations and preferred use of Workday Studio

  • 7+ years of progressive People Systems or HRIS experience
