People Systems Solution Analyst

Rivian Rivian · Auto · Normal, IL · Information Technology

This role focuses on enhancing and deploying People Systems, specifically Workday, by leveraging AI. Responsibilities include data integrity, building EIBs and reports, developing AI-driven data reconciliation and AI-augmented regression testing processes, evaluating new AI features, and partnering with HR teams to translate strategic priorities into system solutions. The role emphasizes automation and AI adoption within HRIS.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and deploy AI-driven data reconciliation processes that cross-reference Workday records against authoritative sources, auto-classify exceptions by severity, and route them to the appropriate analyst or business owner for resolution.
  2. Design AI-augmented regression testing frameworks that auto-generate test scenarios from business process definitions, execute validation scripts, and produce pass/fail dashboards; accelerating release readiness and minimizing manual QA effort.
  3. Evaluate and pilot emerging Workday AI features (e.g., Workday Illuminate, ML-based recommendations) and assess their fit with organizational requirements, data privacy standards, and change-management readiness.
  4. Bring an automation-first mindset to every initiative: identify where agentic workflows, AI co-pilots, or intelligent routing can replace repetitive manual steps and free the People team to focus on high-judgment, human-centric work.
  5. Partner closely with Employee Experience, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development teams to translate strategic priorities into Workday configuration, reporting, and workflow solutions that scale.
