This role focuses on the performance and integration of machine and work tool systems within Caterpillar's BCP division. It involves technical and project leadership, collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused solutions. Key responsibilities include defining product plans, productionizing performance improvements, in-application tuning, and leading technology integration projects.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with customers and Product Teams to define and execute a multi‑generational product plan for CTL, SSL, and CUL machine and Work Tool systems.
  2. Develop, productionize, and support best‑in‑class machine performance and system integration through close collaboration with Product Engineering, Commercial, Engineering Systems, and Software teams.
  3. Partner with manufacturing locations to ensure in‑process validation meets defined customer and product requirements.
  4. Perform in‑application tuning of machine and tool systems and validate overall system functionality and performance.
  5. Lead the delivery of technology and integration projects by coordinating activities across cross‑functional teams.

  • Hands-on experience tuning machine or vehicle systems in real-world applications and validating overall system functionality and performance to meet customer and product requirements.
  • Requires a degree in accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum or equivalent industry experience.
