Performance Solutions Lead

This role focuses on enabling advertisers and sellers to drive success on the Pinterest platform by adopting priority performance products and developing best practices. It involves partnering with sales, product, and engineering, understanding complex processes, enabling sellers, providing strategic thought leadership to clients, and identifying/solving client issues. The role requires expertise in digital marketing, ad tech, campaign optimization, and performance products on ad buying platforms.

What you'd actually do

  1. Become an expert at Pinterest performance best practices and related performance products, enabling yourself to be Australia’s go to resource for performance related opportunities and represent Pinterest’s performance COE (center of excellence)
  2. Understand complex processes and products, distilling them down into a digestible format for a less technical audience
  3. Enable and mobilize sellers to pitch new performance products and campaign best practices at scale, with a focus on products that involves performance automation
  4. Provide strategic thought leadership to top tier clients within your region
  5. Identify key issues facing our clients and advertisers, and develop proposed solutions on how Pinterest should solve them through systems, processes and / or people

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience within digital marketing, ad tech and ad operations
  • Expertise in digital advertising and media sales including campaign optimization, analytical problem solving, sales facing experience, and product/platform knowledge
  • Deep knowledge of performance products on ad buying platforms, with proven experience on product adoption strategy and narrative building
  • A self starter who’s able to influence decision makers both internally and externally to drive adoption of performance products and initiatives
  • A structured and detail-oriented thinker. You’re as comfortable solving conceptual problems and creating frameworks to refine a team’s thinking as you are getting into the weeds to understand how things work.
  • Strong communication skills. You can move seamlessly between conversing with engineers or frontline sales employees and lead presentations with senior leads.
  • An individual that thrives in a fast-moving environment and is independently capable of seeking information, corralling resources, and delivering results without waiting for direction.
  • Technical foundation with relevant experience in Search/Shopping/Display/Social advertising technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
