Petco is seeking a Pet Care Center & Hospital Set Up Coordinator to manage the planning, direction, and coordination of projects related to new pet care centers, veterinary hospitals, and remodels. This role involves developing project proposals, establishing work plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines. The coordinator will also oversee construction contractors and prepare project reports. Requires 2 years of retail operations or management experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to interpret construction documents. Travel is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops and/or reviews project proposals and/or plans to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects to support new pet care centers, new veterinary hospitals and remodel construction.
  2. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
  3. Prepares project reports for management and others.
