This role is for a Plant Maintenance Lead at Crusoe, an AI infrastructure company. The lead will oversee equipment and facilities maintenance, ensuring reliability and efficiency of the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment, developing preventive maintenance systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO), managing documentation, and training personnel. Requires 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, technical skills in industrial equipment, and strong problem-solving abilities. This is a safety-sensitive role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and facilities issues using a variety of hand and power tools, multimeters, and other electrical and mechanical instruments.
  2. Help develop and lead implementation of a comprehensive preventive maintenance system to minimize downtime and extend the life of our assets.
  3. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory codes, including OSHA, while maintaining all necessary ISO documentation. You will actively work to identify and address unsafe situations and promote a safe working environment.
  4. Maintain a detailed maintenance schedule and capture all performed and scheduled maintenance. You will also effectively manage projects with regard to time, safety, and resources.
  5. Train personnel on maintenance procedures and work cooperatively with production teams to ensure continuous operation and minimize machine downtime. You will also manage vendor interactions and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Skills

Required

  • 5 years of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Expertise in industrial maintenance equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment
  • Talent for detecting equipment problems and communicating them effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull, or carry objects, and use proper lifting techniques
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and take appropriate action to ensure your safety and the safety of others

Nice to have

  • college degree or technical certifications in a related field
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role
