Plant Material Flow Analyst

This role is responsible for managing production schedules, inventory, and material flow within an automotive manufacturing plant. It involves using systems like CMMS to schedule production lines, coordinate shipments with suppliers and customers, track inventory, and manage raw materials. The role requires experience in automotive manufacturing, production scheduling, and inventory verification.

What you'd actually do

  1. Produce the daily and weekly production schedules for press lines, chemical treat, ink, heat treat and sub-assemblies (Volume/Mix/Sequence)
  2. Utilize the Common Material Management System (CMMS) Inventory Management System to schedule all lines and to communicate to plant management Production and shipping intentions
  3. Follow up on customer shipments and distributions daily
  4. Support final balance outs and running changes to customers
  5. Track daily shipping status, daily parts follow-up and min/max reporting to support production schedule

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2 years automotive manufacturing / stamping experience
  • CMMS experience
  • Experience in production scheduling and distribution
  • Strong communication and ability to work with production teams
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook etc.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Bill of Material interpretation
  • Experience with inventory process flow
  • Experience with Cycles and Inventory Verification Program

  • Ford Stamping Experience
  • Advanced CMMS experience
  • Exceptional in production scheduling and distribution
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook etc.
