Platform Engineer – Developer Experience

Cyera Cyera · Vertical AI · Tel Aviv, Israel · R&D

This role is for a Platform Engineer focused on Developer Experience, responsible for building and operating internal tools and infrastructure, specifically a Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) platform. The goal is to improve speed, stability, and reliability for the R&D organization by optimizing CI/CD pipelines, reducing flakiness, shortening developer feedback loops, and strengthening release processes. While the company uses AI to transform development, the role itself is focused on the underlying infrastructure and developer tooling, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Improve CI/CD pipelines and CI workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions) with a focus on speed and reliability.
  2. Reduce CI flakiness and improve overall pipeline stability through systematic triage and root-cause analysis.
  3. Shorten developer feedback loops by optimizing test strategy, pipeline consistency, and local development workflows.
  4. Strengthen CD and release processes for secure, repeatable, and fast deployments.
  5. Track and improve delivery metrics, with emphasis on Lead Time for Changes and Deployment Frequency.
