This role focuses on managing and improving the incident management process for Spotify's Ads business, ensuring smooth operations, protecting revenue, and strengthening client relationships. It involves cross-functional collaboration with various teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and evolve the cross-functional incident management process for Spotify’s Ads business, ensuring fast, coordinated, and effective resolution
  2. Act as the central point of coordination across Ads R&D, Sales, Advertiser Solutions, Business Operations, Finance, Legal, and Marketing
  3. Partner with technical and operational teams to monitor incoming ad serving issues and identify those with meaningful business impact
  4. Build and improve structured bug intake and ticketing workflows to increase clarity, speed, and accountability across the incident lifecycle
  5. Identify trends and recurring issues, and partner with Ads R&D to drive long-term solutions

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in ad operations, product operations, sales systems, or a related role within a digital advertising environment
  • 3+ years of experience working with programmatic advertising or technical ad systems
  • Understanding of ad serving, measurement, billing, and order management systems
  • Experience building and improving operational processes in cross-functional, fast-moving environments
  • Experience with incident management processes and tools such as Jira, CRM systems, or reporting platforms
