NVIDIA is seeking a Platform Performance Architect for its GeForce NOW Cloud Gaming service. This role focuses on the architecture, performance, and efficiency of cloud gaming servers, involving performance analysis, optimization of the software stack (hypervisor, driver, firmware), influencing future system design, and enhancing performance analysis tools. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in system software, diagnostic software, and hardware reliability, with knowledge of BIOS, firmware, and kernel mode drivers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Driving Performance analysis of current and next generation Cloud Gaming Hardware and finding bottlenecks.
  2. Improving Gaming performance by driving optimizations at different levels of the Software stack including but not limited to Hypervisor, Driver and Firmware.
  3. Influencing future system design.
  4. Engaging with ODM and driving design reviews.
  5. Enhancing Performance analysis tools and simulators.
