This role focuses on the verification of autonomous vehicle platform software, including subsystems like localization, motion planning, and control. The engineer will develop and maintain test infrastructure, including simulation and CI, and create statistical analysis methods to inspect platform performance. The goal is to validate AV software releases before physical deployment, ensuring the quality and safety of the AI-driven autonomous driving system.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the verification of autonomy platform software against requirements and define ways to evaluate them efficiently and effectively.
  2. Act as a central point of contact for verification of code modules including localization, motion planning and control.
  3. Define necessary improvements for our highly realistic simulator to effectively verify autonomous platform aspects under all required conditions.
  4. Own the writing and tracking of tests and test executions in line with company project milestones.
  5. Create statistical analysis methods to inspect platform performance across large datasets.
