Pmm AI Solution Engineer

This role focuses on applying AI and automation to enhance power management engineering workflows within AMD. The candidate will develop AI-powered solutions like expert agents, AI-assisted debugging tools, and knowledge retrieval systems to improve productivity, debugging efficiency, and validation quality in PMM engineering.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform PMM validation, power/performance analysis, and issue debugging on AMD platforms.
  2. Analyze Windows ETL traces to investigate power, performance, and system behavior issues.
  3. Work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive issue resolution.
  4. Develop and improve PMM validation methodologies, test plans, automation, and debug processes.
  5. Identify opportunities to improve PMM productivity through AI and automation.
  6. Design and develop AI-powered solutions including PMM Expert Agents, AI-assisted debugging tools, knowledge retrieval systems, and automated test plan generation.
  7. Build reusable AI capabilities that leverage PMM documentation, historical debug knowledge, engineering tools, and validation data.
  8. Evaluate and apply modern AI technologies, including LLMs, AI Agents, workflow automation, and retrieval systems.
  9. Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions across PMM engineering workflows.
