Position Management Ops Sr. Analyst

This role is for a Senior Analyst on the ES Data Operations team, focusing on maintaining data integrity within Salesforce's global workforce using Workday HCM. The analyst will be responsible for processing Workday EIBs, verifying and maintaining position attributes, ensuring data integrity for employee transactions, and supporting audits. A key aspect of the role involves identifying and leading opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using AI tools and Workday automation capabilities, and partnering with HR Technology to scale AI-driven process improvements. The role also includes resolving Tier 2 queries, participating in UAT, and supporting global initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as SME for the Position Management Ops team; own end-to-end processing of high-volume Workday EIBs
  2. Review and analyze position management data audits; drive actionable outcomes for Headcount Managers and stakeholders
  3. Verify and maintain position attributes in Workday; create/edit position restrictions per case request
  4. Identify and lead opportunities to automate repetitive, high-volume tasks using AI tools, Workday automation capabilities, or emerging HR tech solutions
  5. Ensure compliance with SOX audit requirements — completing work accurately and on time

Skills

Required

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Workday HCM Analyst with hands-on expertise in the position management staffing model
  • Experience with Workday integration types, including EIB
  • Strong understanding of data integrity and data privacy requirements
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems using data and lead resolution efforts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for process improvement and continuous learning
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
