Post-doctoral fellowship focused on Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Health Economics research within Global Market Access at Johnson & Johnson. The role involves conducting literature reviews, designing and developing RWE research and economic models for cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses, and performing statistical analyses using SAS and R. The goal is to support market access and reimbursement decisions globally.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct literature and/or database reviews related to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) including health economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses as well as real-world evidence research..
  2. Design and develop real-world evidence research and health economic models to conduct cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses and/or HTA (predictive) analyses/ models.
  3. Develop health economic models using Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and/or R.
  4. Draft research protocols, statistical analysis plan and perform statistical analyses (e.g., descriptive statistics and regression analyses) using SAS and/or R
  5. Develop study reports, abstract and manuscripts

Skills

Required

  • Doctorate Degree (e.g., Ph.D.) in Economics/Health Economics, Statistics/Biostatistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, or other relevant program with strong quantitative trainings.

  • Proven scientific problem-solving skills
  • Interest in the international context of healthcare systems and health technology assessment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Independence, creativity, and critical thinking
  • Ability to work well in collaborative, cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Strong computer skills with Excel (including VBA programming) and SAS and/or R with excellent understanding of statistics or econometrics.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
