Pre-sales Engineer – Japan Market

Wix is seeking a Pre-sales Engineer for the Japan market to drive the success of enterprise clients and partners by providing tailored technical solutions and consultations. The role involves training, product demos, identifying and solving business challenges, collaborating with development and product teams, and working with APIs and web technologies. The candidate should have experience in onboarding, training, or consulting in the SaaS space, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in JavaScript and React. Experience with web analytics, security practices, and partner companies is also valued.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide training and present new feature and product demos to both our partners and users
  2. Provide consultations to identify and solve business challenges
  3. Collaborate closely with development, product, and engineering teams to define technical requirements, influence platform enhancements, and advocate for partners and regional client needs
  4. Work hands-on with APIs, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of Wix solutions
  5. Work collaboratively with Product Managers across Wix’s international and dynamic environment to create or enhance features

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in onboarding, training, or consulting in the SaaS space
  • Proven track record of driving customer success and long-term product adoption
  • Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, engineering, and executive teams
  • Experience supporting companies of various sizes, including large enterprises
  • Fluent in Japanese and business-level English
  • Strong communication skills in technical and business settings
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, particularly with the React framework
  • Deep hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing Web Analytics

Nice to have

  • Business experience working with partner companies such as agencies and production companies
  • A solid understanding of security practices, including data privacy and access control
