This role is a pre-sales manager for Databricks' named accounts in Denmark. The manager will lead a team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers, focusing on designing value-focused solutions and supporting sales growth. The role involves coaching the team, communicating complex ideas, building customer relationships, and collaborating with various internal teams. While the role is within a data and AI company and involves discussing AI technologies with customers, the core responsibilities are leadership, sales support, and team management, not direct AI/ML development or research.

  5. Build trusted relationships with customer executives and strategic partners, acting as a credible advisor on data, analytics, and AI.

Skills

Required

  • Experience managing or leading technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, or similarly complex technology environments
  • A track record of leading, mentoring, and scaling pre-sales, consulting, or technical field organisations
  • Understanding of consumption-based or subscription business models
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and other cross-functional leaders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Technical background in Data Engineering, Databases, Data Science, or adjacent fields
