What you'd actually do

  1. Perform a variety of operations to assemble / solder / integrate precision electromechanical products.
  2. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to a specified tolerance.
  3. Assembles, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions.
  4. Assemble and modify prototype precision units for engineering personnel.
  5. Monitor and verify quality by statistical processes or other control procedures.

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Experience reading technical blueprints / electrical drawings / wiring diagrams
