Pricing and Yield Associate for Deal Desk

Uber is seeking an experienced Pricing and Yield Analyst for its Retail and Grocery Deal Desk team. The role focuses on enabling growth through deal support, pricing discipline, and governance, acting as a strategic advisor to sales teams. Responsibilities include modeling complex commercial deals, managing yield through SQL analysis, ensuring compliance, improving processes, and reporting key metrics. Requires 5+ years of experience in a related analytical field, strong SQL skills, proficiency in Salesforce and deal management systems, and fluency in English and Spanish.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deal Pricing and Structuring: Model economics of complex commercial retail deals, balancing aggressive growth targets with margin requirements and yield optimization.
  2. Yield Management: Leverage SQL to provide data analysis on pricing trends, take-rates and other pricing metrics to provide pricing recommendations to leadership.
  3. Approvals and Governance: Ensure compliance with Salesforce by owning deal documentation quality, pricing inputs and data integrity while coordinating cross functional approvals with Finance and Legal teams.
  4. Process Improvements: Able to improve both processes as well as models that may involve working with Tech, Product and Data teams to create new functionalities, dashboards or tools for commercial teams.
  5. Reporting and Analytics: Assist in building out, tracking and reporting key Deal Desk metrics.
