Northrop Grumman is seeking a Pricing Proposal Analyst (Level 4) to support program bids by developing, planning, and compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements. The role involves researching historical data, developing cost models, and participating in pricing reviews and negotiations. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in quantitative/analytical roles, knowledge of proposal development standards (FAR, DFARs), experience with Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and proficiency in MS Office and cost estimating tools.

  1. This role will provide essential support to the Program as a key evaluator and developer of bids.
  2. Candidates for this position will lead/support proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration with other team members

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in quantitative/analytical roles; or Master's degree with 6 years of stated experience.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards and practices related to proposal development (e.g. FAR, DFARs, etc.)
  • Experience with developing and/or analyzing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
  • Strong Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel); Working knowledge of intermediate Excel concepts, including pivot tables, formulas, or other advanced features
  • Knowledge of cost estimating tools (e.g., ProPricer)
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Secret US Clearance and required Program Accesses.

  • Ability to interpret and present complex data
  • Solid understanding of project management and/or cost estimation principles
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to independently complete projects with limited supervision
  • Working knowledge of Cost Improvement (Learning) Curves and/or Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs)
  • Demonstrated experience creating spreadsheets and performing data analysis to create meaningful insights for decision-making
  • Experience with SAP, Cost Point, and/or BOE Next
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Strong attention to detail with an appreciation for accuracy and high standards of quality
  • Proven ability to proactively multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
