This role is for a Principal Account Executive at AWS, focusing on the enterprise games business. The primary responsibility is to manage and grow a key customer relationship, identifying and accelerating growth areas including AI/ML, data transformation, developer enablement, and infrastructure optimization. The role requires strategic thinking, collaboration across teams, and acting as a trusted advisor to the customer.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a large and multifaceted cloud relationship with one of the world’s top game developers and publishers
  2. Identify, scope, and drive growth areas across AIML, data and analytics, infrastructure, and developer platforms
  3. Collaborate with technical specialists, support teams, and AWS leadership to ensure customer success
  4. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate within the customer’s organization, from developers to senior leadership
  5. Develop and execute a forward-looking account plan grounded in business priorities and measurable outcomes

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or BS degree
  • Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals

Nice to have

  • Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
  • Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
  • Experience leading sales teams that work with large global customers
  • Experience with strategic selling to flagship customers at global scale in Games, Media & Entertainment, and Sports
