Workday is seeking a Principal Account Executive for Indonesia to lead sales efforts for their AI platform, focusing on enterprise clients. This role involves carrying an individual quota, mentoring a sales team, managing forecasts, and developing market strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong enterprise sales background, experience in SaaS/ERP/HCM solutions, and deep knowledge of the Indonesian market.

What you'd actually do

  1. Player-Coach: Successfully lead complex sales cycles from start to finish to achieve your individual revenue quota, while concurrently driving the success of a 3-person sales team.
  2. Operational Facilitator: Prioritize and lead team meetings to share best practices, product updates and market intelligence, and to strategize initiatives that drive pipeline creations
  3. Peer Mentorship: Provide tactical deal coaching and "shadowing" opportunities to help AEs navigate complex sales cycles.
  4. Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Lead the overarching sales forecast for Indonesia. Maintain accurate, timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data that rolls up your individual numbers and your team's quota.
  5. Value Positioning: Deeply understand the competitive landscape and localized customer needs in Indonesia to effectively position Workday’s solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
  • 5+ years experience prospecting to Large Enterprise customers
  • Experience in engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory.
  • Intimate knowledge of the Indonesian Market.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)

  • Consistent track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts
  • Experience demonstrating and partnering with internal team members on account strategies
