The Principal Analyst, Sales Compensation Systems and Reporting role at Elastic focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions within the Xactly system to optimize sales compensation processes and reporting. This involves process improvement, system enhancements, UAT testing, Xactly system administration, and generating reports on sales compensation metrics. The role requires strong proficiency in Xactly Incent and Analytics, Excel, and experience in sales compensation operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, implement and maintain automated solutions within Xactly system to optimize performance and efficiency
  2. Find opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to reduce manual intervention and errors
  3. Working closely with internal partners (such as: Sales Operations, IT, Accounting and Internal Audit) to analyze plan design requirements, ensure system changes meet business needs, plan and perform UAT testing for IT development work performed in Xactly ensuring full accuracy of Xactly system calculation
  4. Document and communicate test results, and coordinate with IT and other teams to address any issues
  5. Xactly system administration (statement creation, compensation plan template creation, population setup, credit loads, compensation plan release) as needed

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of work experience with Xactly Incent and Analytics commission software
  • working experience with Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow
  • 5+ years of work experience in Sales Compensation / Operation / Analytics area
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and attention to detail
  • Confirmed experience in design and execution user acceptance testing (UAT) and system implementation projects
  • Superb communication and engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • proven professional experience in content creation, data analysis & reporting
