Content Manager role focused on B2B automotive content strategy, creation, and optimization for the Dealer audience. Responsibilities include leading content strategy, writing/editing/producing multi-media content, partnering with SEO experts, managing the editorial calendar, and driving brand visual identity. Requires understanding of the automotive industry, multi-media communications, independent work, data-informed decision making, and enthusiasm for AI-integrated workstreams and modern SEO/AI-search discovery principles. Experience with agency management and CMS tools is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Independently lead the strategy, creation, and execution of multi-media content, ensuring a consistent and on-brand voice that speaks to automotive professionals.
  2. Write, edit, and produce high-impact content across various communication channels, such as blogs, how-to guides, articles, e-books, videos, industry reports, webinars, and more - seamlessly navigating workflow from creation to publication to ongoing optimization.
  3. Partner with internal SEO/GEO experts to ensure content is discoverable and ranks for high-intent Dealer searches.
  4. Autonomously build and maintain the editorial calendar, aligning content themes with product updates, industry trends, and business goals.
  5. Proactively drive the brand's visual identity by leading the creation of compelling graphics, engaging short-form video, and high-quality photography that elevates our digital storytelling and connects with our audience.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience focused on developing and managing content workflow and editorial production

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing or communications department for a Fortune 500 company or within an advertising/marketing agency
  • 2+ years of experience with automotive B2B marketing, automotive media or agencies, automotive lending providers, or automotive SaaS providers
  • 3+ years of experience managing external vendors or creative agencies
  • 3+ years of experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and modern visual creation/editing tools
