Principal Associate, Enterprise Learning Risk Management Lead

This role is focused on enterprise learning and development risk management, process optimization, and project management. It involves partnering with HR and L&D teams to ensure proactive risk mitigation, maintain key artifacts like controls and BCPs, and serve as a liaison with the HR Business Risk Office. The ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with strong communication and problem-solving abilities, experienced in risk management principles within a large organization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partnering with teams across L&D to ensure accurate and efficient action (i.e. incident management, control execution).
  2. Consulting with HR’s Business Risk Office and building out remediation plans and proactive mitigation actions
  3. Serve as a peer leader across the L&D team, ensuring that risk management initiatives are delivered on-time and with high quality
  4. Building and delivering ongoing socialization plans to increase awareness of L&D’s risk management roadmap including owning socializing awareness of upcoming initiatives with the L&D leadership team

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in project, process, or quality management
  • At least 1 year of experience in risk management, audit, compliance or consulting
  • Proven ability to navigate across a large organization to drive change and influence on-time deliverables across multiple job families
  • An understanding of how risk management principles impact and inform day-to-day operations in a large-scale organization
  • Showcase an openness to diverse viewpoints and perspectives to drive consensus on solutions that align with the organization’s strategic priorities and risk management efforts
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight, delivering high-quality results on-time

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of Risk Event management or Issue Management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in management of multiple projects concurrently in an autonomous environment
  • 2+ years of risk methodologies and corporate risk practices experience
  • 3+ years of operations management or risk management experience
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
