Principal Associate, Internal Communications Lead, Talent Marketing

Capital One Capital One · Banking · McLean, VA +1

This role is for an Internal Communications Lead focused on Talent Marketing at Capital One. The primary responsibility is to empower recruiters by developing internal messaging, communication strategies, and resources. The role involves customizing narratives, managing communication channels, and influencing recruiting leaders. A key aspect is exploring how AI and digital mediums can enhance information delivery to Talent Acquisition teams. The role also requires measuring the adoption of tools and resources and gathering feedback for continuous improvement. While AI is mentioned as an area to explore for enhancing communication, the core function of the role is internal communications and talent marketing, not direct AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Foster the adoption of tools, templates and resources. You won’t just share information, you will empower our teams to hire the best talent on the planet.
  2. Develop proactive communication strategies, moving recruiters from "passively aware" to "actively using" our brand assets and recruiter enablement platforms.
  3. Identify and manage preferred communications channels (newsletters, Slack, All-Hands) to effectively reach recruiters where they are.
  4. Take complex brand strategies and distill them into talking points for external talent-facing teams.
  5. Move beyond "open rates" to measure the actual adoption and utilization of talent brand tools and resources.
