Principal Associate: Process Manager, Audit Chief of Staff

This role is a Process Manager within the Audit Chief of Staff team at Capital One, focusing on strategy, operations, and governance for the Audit department. The position involves managing processes related to non-associate labor, global workplace solutions, and risk management activities. Key responsibilities include managing intake, financial approvals, sourcing, forecasting, and onboarding of resources for non-associate labor, as well as owning risk management processes such as business continuity, information retention, and compliance monitoring. The role also serves as a strategic partner for innovation enhancements and process strengthening within the Audit Chief of Staff team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage Non-Associate Labor needs for the Audit department through close partnership with Enterprise Supplier Management, Finance, Audit COOs and Supplier Engagement Managers by managing intake, financial approvals, scoping conversations, sourcing, forecasting and onboarding of resources.
  2. Own all Risk Management processes and activities for Audit, including:
  3. Serve as primary contact for all Global Workplace Solutions needs supporting all Audit people centers through close partnership with the Audit Leadership Team.
  4. Be a strategic partner to the Chief of Staff Reporting Director by managing innovation enhancements for the Audit Chief of Staff team.
  5. Share insights and draw connections between the various programs and processes to strengthen processes and build efficiencies.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of process management experience
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
  • At least 3 years of experience writing, editing, and sending communication

Nice to have

  • 1+ year experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools
  • 4+ year experience in Communication
  • 4+ year of Risk Management experience
  • 4+ year of Project or Process Management experience
