This role focuses on designing, validating, and implementing selection strategies and assessment tools within Capital One's People Analytics organization. It involves quantitative and qualitative analysis of data to support talent acquisition and ensure diverse talent acquisition across the enterprise. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills, with a focus on data analysis, statistical modeling (R, Python, SQL), and communicating results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you'd actually do

  1. Developing and maintaining large data sets for analyses on various selection and assessment programs
  2. Serving as an analyst for selection tool evaluation and reporting, including business impact analyses for selection solutions and programs
  3. Communicating results of statistical analyses, along with their implications, to technical and non-technical audiences
  4. Participating in the design, development, validation, testing, and implementation of practical, effective, defensible, and candidate-friendly products and selection tools and processes

Skills

Required

Nice to have

  • PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or other technical or quantitative discipline

  • Proficient in using Google Suite products or similar programs
