This role is focused on underwriting, portfolio management, and loan management within the Community Finance group at Capital One. It involves risk assessment, evaluation, management, and administration of loans and investments, particularly in affordable housing transactions. The ideal candidate needs strong analytical, critical thinking, and risk management skills, with experience in credit analysis and financial operations. This is not an AI/ML development role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead sections portfolio management and analysis of individual debt or equity facilities in alignment with the business risk appetite and in compliance with policies and procedures
  2. Manage portfolio risk and collaborate with internal risk teams to ensure compliance.
  3. Identify and implement efficiencies in portfolio management processes.
