This role is for a Principal Business Development Manager-Tech on the Amazon Enterprise Creators team. The primary focus is on building and scaling partnership portfolios, specifically enterprise network partnerships and creative tooling/technology partnerships. The role involves leading complex technical integrations (APIs, data sharing, attribution, interoperability), managing commercial negotiations, P&L ownership, and cross-functional alignment. The individual will set strategic direction, identify opportunities, and influence senior leadership. While the role mentions experience with Data & AI related technologies and using generative AI tools, these are preferred qualifications and not the core craft of the role, which is business development and partnership management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end strategy and relationship management for enterprise network partners who activate large communities of creators on Amazon's behalf, driving measurable growth in creator participation and attributed revenue
  2. Identify, evaluate, and secure partnerships with leading content creation platforms and technology providers to bring professional-grade tooling into the creator experience
  3. Lead complex technical integration workstreams including API design, data sharing frameworks, attribution models, and platform interoperability in partnership with engineering teams
  4. Develop and manage P&L for each partnership, including commission structures, investment frameworks, and ROI models that demonstrate business value
  5. Structure and negotiate commercial agreements that balance growth incentives with appropriate risk controls

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of professional or military experience
  • 10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with either solutions or programs that have demonstrated success at enterprise customers

  • Experience solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment Industry
  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
