Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Conference Event Representative to manage and execute strategic events for executive leadership, domestic and international customers. This role involves detailed logistical planning, cross-functional team leadership, and ensuring alignment with institutional goals and brand messaging. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills, with a focus on high-level stakeholder engagement and protocol adherence.

What you'd actually do

  1. Orchestrates large-scale special activities involving Cabinet-level leaders, senior military officials, international delegations, and corporate executives, requiring meticulous protocol adherence, executive presence, and diplomacy
  2. Identifies and secures appropriate venues and support teams, develops the event flow, prepares movement plans, and conducts facility walk-throughs to ensure site readiness
  3. Contributes and communicates logistics in all planning and preparation meetings with the Stakeholders to ensure the visit plan is aligned with institutional goals, brand messaging, and long-term engagement outcomes Defines meeting/presentation needs and ensures closure to actions
  4. Handles scheduling, agenda management and preparation for visits and special activities, prepares and distributes the appropriate working documents (artifacts)
  5. Ensures participants are prepared through dry-run visit/event preparation sessions and walk-throughs
