What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for specifying, collecting, processing, and presenting information from potentially several disparate data sets.
  2. Will generate actionable knowledge from data.
  3. Have the analytical and problem-solving skills necessary for quickly developing recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data from many different types of sources.
  4. Have the ability to identify patterns and higher-level information from all the data sources through use of tools and application programming.
  5. Responsible for data integrity and metrics reporting.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to extract and manipulate data from databases (e.g., SQL, MS Access DB)
  • Experienced Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience working in Plans Scheduling & Documentation (PS&D) or Maintenance Operations Center (MOC).
  • Experience with technical data and electronic technical manual change processes.

Nice to have

  • Ability to use statistical programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, Power BI).
  • Experience supporting aircraft mechanical and avionics systems.
  • Experience evaluating engineering changes for implementation.
  • Flightline experience.
  • Maintenance background.
