This role is for a Principal Contract Administrator at Northrop Grumman, focusing on DoD contracting. What you'd actually do

  1. Interfaces with external customers and internal business partners, conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration
  2. Examines proposal requirements and estimates, prepares bids, analyzes terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  3. Processes contractual documentation and reports, advises management of contractual rights and obligations, compiles and analyzes data, and maintains historical information
  4. Facilitates proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA or customer as required via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)
  5. Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressure

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant professional contracts experience ; OR Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant professional contracts experience
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
