Principal Datacenter Hsio Engineer

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA

NVIDIA is seeking a Principal Datacenter HSIO Engineer to drive end-to-end system architecture from silicon to rack level, lead cross-domain optimization efforts, and develop innovative features for GPU performance. The role requires extensive hardware experience, deep understanding of system-level power architecture, and knowledge of modern optical communications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive end-to-end system architecture from silicon to rack level
  2. Lead cross-domain optimization efforts involving power delivery, thermal design, signal integrity, and mechanical constraints
  3. Develop innovative features at all levels (silicon/system) to help improve GPU performance
  4. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for interconnect (electrical/optical), power delivery, and memory solutions
  5. Provide expertise and support to validation teams with planning and execution
