What you'd actually do

  1. Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Supplier/Subcontract Manger (SMT) Radar Avionics Subsystem(s)
  2. Responsibilities include the ability to manage the program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with program and AV design, test, document and Avionics Radar subsystems hardware requirements
  3. Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
  4. Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
  5. Work to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related engineering experience
  • Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP)

Nice to have

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 year of related engineering experience
