Principal Electronics Engineer (Supplier Management Team Lead) for the Triton MFAS radar subsystem team. Responsibilities include coordinating the SMT, managing execution of work orders, establishing metrics, managing risks, reviewing documentation, and reporting status. Requires a STEM Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, familiarity with product lifecycles and government acquisition, and Project Management/Control Account Management experience. A Secret clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinating the efforts of the SMT, including engineers, the Global Supply Chain subcontracts administrator, supplier quality assurance representatives, cost account manager, and schedulers
  2. Managing the execution of all NGMS Intra Work Order (IWO) performance, including planning, proposals, new capability development, production, testing, deliveries, sustainment, and repairs
  3. Establish and track metrics to drive and ensure high-quality SMT execution
  4. Manage and communicate execution risks by monitoring technical performance against metrics and addressing resource gaps
  5. Conducting or coordinating review of NGMS partner documentation and deliverables (SDRLs)
  6. Reporting IWO status to Program Managers, GSC managers, IPT Management, and Control Account Managers
  7. Develop tasking statements and Statements of Work (SSOW) through collaboration with key technical and programmatic stakeholders

Skills

Required

  • STEM Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of related engineering experience
  • Familiarity with product lifecycles and government acquisition process
  • Project Management principles experience
  • Control Account Management experience
  • Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, IWO partners, and customers
  • Secret clearance

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in a STEM discipline, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Experience managing suppliers as part of a government/DOD contract
  • Experience planning, scheduling, and managing projects with many different stakeholders
  • Experience in supplier statement of work generation
  • Experience with T&M, CPIF, CPFF, and FFP contract types
  • Experience with contract negotiations
  • Program Management experience / completion of Project Management Professional course
  • Experience with repair management, DMSMS evaluations, MRP requirements
  • General technical exposure to payload subsystems, platform integration and test
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
