Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to support the RQ-4 Enterprise. This role involves defining and monitoring mission assurance program specifications, ensuring mission success, and managing quality, risk, safety, reliability, and maintainability. The engineer will perform peer reviews, represent Mission Assurance leadership, lead Root Cause Corrective Actions, and interface with customers and government agencies on quality matters. A Secret security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs.
  2. Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.
  3. Assesses program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.
  4. Perform Engineering Design and document peer reviews
  5. Represents Mission Assurance leadership in program meetings

  • MRB experience
  • Quality role qualification

  • U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel ~10% of the time
