What you'd actually do

  1. Primary function is structural modification stress analysis and manufacturing engineering supporting a high paced development effort.
  2. We are looking for an engineer who analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design.
  3. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability of metal and composite airframe structures.
  4. In this role, you will be providing stress analysis for primary and secondary structure.
  5. Reviewing completed analyses, drawings, and repairs for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 5 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in Engineering, OR a Master's degree AND 3 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in Engineering, OR a Ph.D. AND 1 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in Engineering.
  • Experience in Bonded Composite Structural Analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures.
  • Experience in Metallic Structural Analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures
  • Experience in Structural Analysis Methods and documentation, including hand-sheet analysis, as well as the development and manipulation of large Finite Element Models.
  • Experience using PATRAN, or FEMAP.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
