Lead a team developing AI-assisted systems for incident triage and mitigation within Microsoft Security's Identity division. The role involves leveraging large language models and agents to automate incident response, correlate change logs, and reduce time-to-mitigate for service outages across diverse cloud environments. The focus is on improving developer experience and integrating existing engineering systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a team responsible for assisting Microsoft engineers to resolve incidents and outages faster via use of agents and AI and promptly and accurately informing Microsoft's customers of any impact to services they use.
  2. Develop systems that correlate change logs (from a simple deploy intent of a single service to very granular events where hundreds of thousands of machines receive unsupervised updates) to ongoing incident impact.
  3. Reduce time-to-mitigate and increase engineering focus time by building runtimes that auto-triage and auto-mitigate reported incidents and warning signals from telemetry systems.
  4. Champion our approach of New Production Function where both development and operations are re-imagined with the availability of agents and the surrounding ecosystem.
