This role is for a Principal Enterprise Account Manager focused on AI Model Providers within the HiTech industry. The primary responsibility is to manage strategic relationships with AI companies, driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration on AWS. The role requires a blend of sales and technical expertise to engage with C-level executives, developers, and engineers, and to lead cross-functional teams in shaping strategies for partners, professional services, and training. The goal is to help enterprise AI-native companies scale their infrastructure and go-to-market efforts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the strategic relationship with one of the most consequential AI companies in the generative AI landscape.
  2. Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration with enterprise accounts.
  3. Be the leader of a cross functional team, shaping the strategy for partners, professional services, and training/certification.
  4. Develop and execute against a territory strategy and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
  5. Teaming with all aspects of the customer’s organization. This includes C-level executives, engineering, infrastructure, partner org, and sales.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, engineering, infrastructure, and GTM functions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS technologies, including EC2 GPU instances, Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and AWS Marketplace
  • Familiarity with foundation model provider business models, including training infrastructure, inference deployment, and enterprise GTM motions
  • Experience negotiating strategic, large-scale commercial contracts
  • Understanding of the generative AI competitive landscape, including open-source vs. proprietary model dynamics
  • Experience working with venture-backed, high-growth AI-native companies
